Cleaning Technician / Cleaning ProfessionalRole Summary

Bright Space Cleaning is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as either Full-Time Cleaning Technicians (W-2 Employees) or Independent Contractors (1099) . In this role, you will provide high-quality residential and commercial cleaning services while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Success in this position means consistently exceeding customer expectations, maintaining high cleaning standards, arriving on time, and representing Bright Space Cleaning with professionalism and integrity. This role is essential to our company's reputation and growth, ensuring our clients enjoy clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial cleaning services according to company standards.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and disinfect all assigned areas.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and properly.
• Follow cleaning schedules and client-specific instructions.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers.
• Arrive on time and complete assigned jobs efficiently and thoroughly.
• Secure client property and maintain confidentiality and trust at all times.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning assignments.
• Deliver excellent customer service and help create long-term client relationships.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, honest, and professional work ethic.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience.
• Experience using professional cleaning equipment and products.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and cleaning techniques.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
